Available for Weekend
Projects While documentary
production is stalled by the delayed passage of
federal renewable energy incentives and the opening of
the first manufacturer of solar panels in Washington
state, Rainshadow Productions is available for new
weekend projects.
Fortunately, the recently
passed Wall Street bailout bill includes a new 30
percent tax credit for photovoltaic systems without the
current cap of $2,000. Silicon Energy, in Arlington,
Washington, will begin manufacturing solar panels
sometime in 2009. One of the Washington state incentives
will triple as a result.

About
Rainshadow Productions
Rainshadow is a
dynamic video production company that is
dedicated to developing compelling short documentaries
with an interesting independent point of view.
The owner, Steve Kaiser, has
a unique approach to creating documentaries. Mix together
a journalism background, new film-making technologies and
cinema verite style, and you get a fresh perspective you won't
find anywhere else.
Steve's
most ambitious documentaries about solar electricity
incentives are in development now.
They were inspired by people's reaction to global
warming. An increasing number of citizens believe society
is contributing to the dangerous rising carbon dioxide levels
yet feel frustrated and confused about how they can be part of
the solution. Empower yourself, first with information
and then with decisions you can assert that make a
difference. Find more information at Current
Projects.
